AutoCAD 20.1 PC/Windows
The AutoCAD series consists of two main products: AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT (or AutoCAD Light). AutoCAD LT was released as a smaller, more portable alternative to AutoCAD, while AutoCAD combines the capabilities of AutoCAD with its own 2D and 3D modeling, architectural, and presentation tools.
AutoCAD is the most popular commercial CAD software, accounting for almost 80% of the worldwide CAD market. According to market research firm IHS iSuppli, AutoCAD’s share of the market for commercial CAD software was 74.7% in 2016. AutoCAD is used primarily for architects, engineers, and drafters. It is also popular with mechanical and electrical engineers, architects, and surveyors.
AutoCAD includes AutoCAD Architecture and AutoCAD MEP (or Autodesk Electrical and Mechanical Piping), both of which are 3D CAD programs. AutoCAD Architecture can model the structural elements, connections, and detail elements of an office building or multi-family residence (apartment building, duplex, row house, etc.) in 3D, while AutoCAD MEP can design piping networks. AutoCAD Architecture and AutoCAD MEP are primarily used by the architectural, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.
AutoCAD’s largest market is North America, where it accounts for about 65% of the market. Europe accounts for 25% of AutoCAD’s sales, while Asia accounts for the remainder. The AutoCAD LT version is used in Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East.
AutoCAD’s history goes back to 1982, when Autodesk released its first AutoCAD software, a desktop CAD system developed by Computer Associates for use on personal computers. Originally developed for the Apple II line of computers and published for Apple Macintosh computers, AutoCAD was first released in December 1982.
While early versions of AutoCAD were free, Autodesk later introduced a “low-end” version of AutoCAD that was sold for $99, as well as the AutoCAD Basic Standard edition, a basic, student-oriented version of AutoCAD. The AutoCAD Standard edition featured an intuitive user interface and allowed users to create, view, and edit drawings using any combination of the program’s 2D and 3D modeling, presentation, and annotation features.

Sublayers are a specific feature of AutoCAD 2007.
AutoCAD LT, AutoCAD R15, and AutoCAD Architecture are Windows-only AutoCAD applications.
AutoCAD is sold by Autodesk either as a complete system or as individual components.
AutoCAD LT and AutoCAD 2004 share the same software licensing.
AutoCAD 2009 contains some new features, such as Civil 3D. A new version is released for AutoCAD LT on a regular basis, while AutoCAD 2009 is only available for the regular version of AutoCAD. The regular version of AutoCAD 2009 supports certain features of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
AutoCAD 2010 is available as a Windows version only.
AutoCAD 2010 Architect is a cross-platform product.
AutoCAD 2012 and newer are all available as AutoCAD Viewer or AutoCAD LT. There are no limits to the number of user licenses that can be purchased, but the licenses are tied to a specific version of AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT. AutoCAD 2012 supports rendering in DirectX 9.0 or later, but AutoCAD LT does not. AutoCAD LT and AutoCAD 2007 both support rendering in OpenGL. AutoCAD 2012 contains many new features, including FEM objects, three-dimensional solids, regular solids, alignment for solids, engineering drawing features, multi-view drawings, orthographic projection features, mass property for solids, and exploded views.
AutoCAD 2013, AutoCAD 2014, AutoCAD 2015 and AutoCAD LT 2013 are Windows-only products.
AutoCAD 2017 and AutoCAD LT 2017 are cross-platform products.
AutoCAD 2017 Architect is a cross-platform product.
AutoCAD 2018 and AutoCAD LT 2018 are Windows-only products.
AutoCAD Architecture was released in February, 2019. It was initially available for Windows-only versions of AutoCAD 2018 and AutoCAD LT 2018.
AutoCAD supports both in-house and third-party custom macros, as well as external program extensions.
Macros are similar to Visual Basic scripts in other programs; in AutoCAD they are stored in an external file (a BMP file) in the folder MCS, which is located inside the drawing’s

TFS Get Latest on Feature Folder
I’m creating a Team Build for our TFS 2010 environment, and one of the Tasks is to Get the latest from a feature folder on a particular server.
I’m getting an error “TF14051: You must use the value of the Source attribute for GetVersion command.”
Here’s what I have:
Thanks for your help!
The bug is fixed in V2 of the powertools pack.
If it’s not broken, it’s not fixed. We’ve been using the power tools (with a basic skill set) to manage a team of about 30 developers and using that as our primary tool. We’ve worked on dozens of builds where this was used successfully and even one or two where the version was made available. We’ve gotten it working for some things, but the whole process is a pain. The Version Number always changes when you check it out of TFS, but doesn’t get updated properly (it doesn’t even get updated with our latest version number – which is nice – it actually returns
