AutoCAD For PC

Equipped with the right applications, a computer can be of great help in virtually any domain of activity. When it comes to designing and precision, no other tool is as accurate as a computer. Moreover, specialized applications such as AutoCAD give you the possibility to design nearly anything ranging from art, to complex mechanical parts or even buildings.
Suitable for business environments and experienced users
After a decent amount of time spent installing the application on your system, you are ready to fire it up. Thanks to the office suite like interface, all of its features are cleverly organized in categories. At a first look, it looks easy enough to use, but the abundance of features it comes equipped with leaves room for second thoughts.
Create 2D and 3D objects
You can make use of basic geometrical shapes to define your objects, as well as draw custom ones. Needless to say that you can take advantage of a multitude of tools that aim to enhance precision. A grid can be enabled so that you can easily snap elements, as well as adding anchor points to fully customize shapes.
With a little imagination and patience on your behalf, nearly anything can be achieved. Available tools allow you to create 3D objects from scratch and have them fully enhanced with high-quality textures. A powerful navigation pane is put at your disposal so that you can carefully position the camera to get a clearer view of the area of interest.
Various export possibilities
Similar to a modern web browser, each project is displayed in its own tab. This comes in handy, especially for comparison views. Moreover, layouts and layers also play important roles, as it makes objects handling a little easier.
Sine the application is not the easiest to carry around, requiring a slightly sophisticated machine to properly run, there are several export options put at your disposal so that the projects itself can be moved around.
Aside from the application specific format, you can save as an image file of multiple types, PDF, FBX and a few more. Additionally, it can be sent via email, directly printed out on a sheet of paper, or even sent to a 3D printing service, if available.
To end with
All in all, AutoCAD remains one of the top applications used by professionals to achieve great precision with projects of nearly any type. It encourages usage with incredible offers for student licenses so you get acquainted with its abundance of features early on. A lot can be said about what it can and can't do, but the true surprise lies in discovering it step-by-step.

Changing the default handler for the keyCode

I have a super simple web page that just needs to be able to catch the event. The most basic form of that would be:
document.onkeypress = function() {
if (event.keyCode == 13) {
// do stuff here

This works just fine for a “Enter” key, but I would like it to work for the “Delete” key. So I tried this:
document.onkeypress = function(event) {
if (event.keyCode == 8 && event.ctrlKey == false) {
// do stuff here

The first line works just fine, but the second throws the error:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘keyCode’ of undefined

If it matters, I am using Chrome’s “classic” UI.
Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong?

I guess that you mean that you want to do this on the window instead of the document?
window.onkeypress = function(event) {
if (event.keyCode == 8 && event.ctrlKey == false) {
// do stuff here

I don’t know if this is the only problem but I don’t know what you mean by “The first line works just fine, but the second throws the error”. Maybe

Equation Editor is a mathematical function editor that allows calculating and graphically plotting mathematical equations. The software has an interactive user interface that allows equations to be rearranged and display algorithms to handle more complex equations.

Additionally, for creating “AutoCAD-like” functionality in other software, there are two CAD app frameworks: Adobe XD and the Open Source Autodesk UI Framework.

AutoCAD allows application programming interfaces (APIs) for both company and individual users, often called extensions, which allow AutoCAD to be used as a scripting language. These are made available for free by Autodesk on their website. Some of these include using AutoCAD as an application programming interface (API), APIs for converting drawings between the various AutoCAD file types, APIs for working with surfaces and solids, features for creating forms, and other features.

AutoCAD’s communication with Microsoft Windows allows for AutoCAD to be controlled through PowerShell.

File formats
Autodesk also offers a free-of-charge conversion utility that converts a CAD file to a different CAD file format. For example, the AutoLISP to AutoCAD converter can convert the.lsp file format to the.dwg or.dxf file format.

Unlike many other CAD programs, AutoCAD has a limited set of file format options. (For example, though T-splines and spline surfaces are supported, only two-dimensional spline surfaces are supported. Objects can be created and edited in DXF but are not supported in DWG, DGN, DFX, or other DWG formats.) There is support for almost all object types within the drawing but many of them are just supported. The file format options available are not limited by the program, however. The command line command Dump still supports an output format of DWG files.

Pro (also marketed as Architectural Desktop or Architectural AutoCAD) is a proprietary type of AutoCAD sold and marketed by Autodesk since 1984. The software incorporates a vector-based schematic and drawing design toolset to allow rapid design prototyping, in addition to drafting software. The software supports a variety of file formats, including the native.DWG and.DXF formats, as well as the native.DWF and.DGN formats, as well as various proprietary formats created by Autodesk. A major distinguishing feature is that Pro (not available in AutoCAD Standard or
